Amidst the ban being imposed on Pakistani actors in India in the wake of the Uri terror attacks, the buzz is that friends Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar had a secret meeting in Lisbon recently.

mid-day had reported a few days back that Karan Johar has taken off to Lisbon where buddy SRK is shooting for Imtiaz Ali's 'The Ring'. This was amidst calls from MNS to ban KJo’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

The timing of the meet does indicate that it may have something to do with the ongoing controversy. There were some reports, which claimed that Karan went on the sets of Imtiaz’s film, and was to direct a scene for it. But, Karan immediately left for London from Lisbon.

It may be recalled Karan expressed concern at the developments, stating that banning Pakistani artistes from working in India was not a solution to terrorism. MNS workers are said to have staged a protest outside the filmmaker's office, shouting slogans against him for casting Fawad in the forthcoming drama "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil". What would further worry Karan is the ban imposed on Pakistani actors from working in India by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association, late on Thursday night.
