Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is all set to release this Friday (August 18). This is a small town love story. Bareilly's Barfi is being talked about in the film, but even in the real life, the stars of this movie have not forgotten the sweetness of the shops in the city where they have spent their childhood.

Like ordinary people, stars also have a favourite sweet shop in their home town.

mid-day.com talks to 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' lead stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao about their favourite dessert shop in their hometown.

Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon is from Delhi. Talking about a particular sweet shop in her city, she says, "I have been very fond of sweets since childhood. I used to eat sweets a lot since I am a Punjabi. I am also a fan of Bengali sweets, but my most favorite is the Bhatia Snack Shop, where samosas, tikki and desserts are quite famous."

Rajkummar Rao
Rajkumar Rao has spent a long time in Gurgaon. Rajkummar explains that his city was once known as Gurgaon. Now it is Gurugram. Rajkummar points out that he is quite a foodie. Sweets are his weakness. He says, "I went to Kolkata to shoot Bose. For Bose's character, I wanted to gain weight, so my breakfast was 14 to 15 rasgullas. I also enjoyed Mishty Doi a lot. If I go to my house in Gurgaon even now, I don't leave without having Manchanda's kulfi. There is also a chaat shop nearby where I always eat. There is a Rupa chaat shop near home. I love the tikkis there. It's my favourite.

Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana is from Chandigarh's Panchkula and is a fan of rasgullas. He says, "There is Nand shop near my house, from where our evening snacks came. Even today when I go there, I buy lots of sweets and enjoy it. I love rasgullas too. During the shooting of Meri Pyaari Bindu, I enjoyed Mishti Doi and rasgullas in Kolkata.
