For those who remember playing aerial combat games in your 8/16 bit gaming consoles with hazy pictures and non-stop supply of ammunition, Aces of Luftwaffe is a must-try.
The game has been gaining popularity, so we decided to give it a try, and it was worth the effort. Available for free on Google Play, the Aces of Luftwaffe takes you to the era of World War II, where Axis planes are creating havoc in the sky and in the land with their powerful bombers.
You join the aerial combat team of the Allies, as a freshman where you first mission requires you to prove that you are worthy of flying. Once you are done with that you join in the Battle of Britain. The mission is simple: shoot down as many Axis planes as possible. You get extra powers when you shoot down their arms and supply planes.
Points are earned as you shoot down planes (these can be used later to unlock newer levels). You also get this superpower mode, which can be used to call support planes if the situation gets out of control. Overall, this well-designed game will keep you glued to your smartphone for long.
