Ribery spent two years with the Ligue 1 outfit from 2005-07, and admitted that his return to the Stade Velodrome will not be comfortable.
"It feels weird for me, I played here for two years and had many good experiences with the club and the fans. They are all football-crazy here," he said.
"It will be a very difficult game, they want to beat us," he continued. "Marseille are a very aggressive team. We need to focus going into the game. But that is not easy in this stadium and with these football-crazy fans."
