A sneak peek teaser of Priyanka Chopra's debut Hollywood film, 'Baywatch', which was unveiled last evening, instantly became a hot topic of discussion among netizens. But, more than PeeCee's oh-so-hot look (eye-popping cleavage and red puckers), it was her blink-and-miss appearance in the two-minute video that sent the Twitterati into a tizzy.

However, sources close to the actress tell us that Priyanka's fans will have to wait a bit longer to for their first real introduction to her character — Victoria Leeds, the main villain of the film.

"Yesterday's sneak peek introducing the lifeguard squad is the first of many teasers to be released by the studio introducing the audiences to the world of 'Baywatch' and the many layers of the plot, all leading up to the official trailer launch in early 2017," says an insider.

The film is slated to release during the Memorial Day Weekend (May 26, 2017). Prior to this, the actress has played negative roles in '7 Khoon Maaf' (2011) and 'Aitraaz' (2004).

Adds the insider, "The multi-layered launch campaign will sequentially introduce the key characters of the film in a series of trailers, and the first look was flagged off by an introduction to star lifeguards, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron. The makers will soon unveil another teaser; that one will have a lot more of Priyanka. With two posters and some behind-the-scenes videos that have been shared on social media, the feedback has been phenomenal."
