Be a curator for a day
Kids can now learn all about the bells and whistles that go into being a curator for a day at these workshops being organised by the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum, every Tuesday
Inspired by their ongoing special exhibition, Homelands — a unique take on contemporary British art by Indian curator Latika Gupta — Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum has launched, Curate Your Own Exhibition workshops.
The workshops aim at encouraging participants to consider the meaning of ‘home’ and then curate their own displays to reflect these ideas using the collections at the museum.
The workshop will focus on the practical aspects of curating museum exhibitions. Apart from individual participation, the workshops are also being conducted as part of the Museum’s Family Fridays, where family members can enjoy working together on different activities. Prior registration is important to participate in the workshops.
