Junkyard Wars

The IT department of Sathaye College has organised a special event, Junkyard Wars, where participants will be required to use their imagination to the fullest, and build something useful from waste material.

The event, which is part of the college’s annual IT festival, Byte IT, is open to students from across city colleges. All the materials will be provided at the venue. Participants can register only as a team consisting of two to four people.


The three-day festival, opening today, will also have thirteen other events including challenges on hardware assembling, C++ programming, as well as photography and a treasure hunt.

Gamers would love the special Mario, Need for Speed and Counter Strike events, challenging them to score over their opponents on three of the world’s most popular games.
