Beauty, the organic way

If you're searching for organic skin care products, check out Beaute Naturelle, an internet boutique that provides natural and organic beauty care products

For all those who long for beautiful skin but are wary of the side effects of harmful chemicals contained in beauty products, the website of Beaute Naturelle offers an alternative. The website is the brainchild of Meghana Chaudhary-Joshi, who was a Laboratory and Clinical Researcher at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbur (USA) and has now turned entrepreneur.

Herbal range of products on

According to Joshi, "Natural products are a long-term investment for your looks and all-round wellness. Also, these make for safer and healthier choices. Our range of cosmetics are made using plant waxes, floral water, botanical extracts, honey, and beeswax, which is ultimately better for you than cosmetics made from petroleum or animal based ingredients."

The website offers products of seven major brands which are as follows: Divine, Mountain Bounties-Jagriti, Ruby's Herbal, Last Forest Enterprises, Nourish Body and Bath, Aura Vedic and tvam: Naturally Yours. These products do not contain chemicals and no animal testing is conducted in the making of these products. They also do not have any ill effects on the environment.

If you are uncomfortable shopping online, assures Joshi. "Shopping at Beaute Naturelle is completely safe and secure. We also offer Cash on Delivery (CoD) facility for  Mumbai and Pune." As far as the delivery is concerned, Beaute Naturelle has an arrangement with Fairdeal Couriers and Logistics. Orders are shipped via Fairdeal and delivered to the customer's doorstep and the estimated delivery time is 3-5 days for most destinations.

On the website, you will find products on body care, face care, anti-ageing, lip care, sun protection, bathing, eye care, hair care, body massage oils and gift packs. Alongside products there is information on how to use the product and its suitablity for a particular skin type.

Their products are manufactured as per fair trade principles and are sourced from rural areas. "It's our way of helping India's rural economy and preserving forests, while boosting employment opportunities for village women and tribes" concludes Joshi.
