Beckham eyes Olympic swansong
Former England captain David Beckham yesterday reiterated his desire to play in next year's Olympics, insisting he was still fit enough to deliver at the highest level of football.
Beckham, 36, told the BBC that playing for Great Britain in London was a "dream" and was adamant that he had no plans to hang up his boots after nearly 20 years as a professional footballer.
"We all dream about it and we all think about it," Beckham said when asked about the Olympics. "If it happens, I'll be honoured."
