Theta healer Rachna Mehra shows the guide how she can fend off fatal diseases with unconditional love

When 47-year-old homemaker Shabnum Malhotra discovered that her then three-year-old daughter Anandini was suffering from Neuroblastoma (a childhood cancer), her world came to a grinding halt. "After an anxious few years of rigorous treatments, chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions, I was introduced to Theta practitioner Rachna Mehra.

We went in for a lesson or two, and came back impressed.

Keep the faith
First things first. Theta healing is not any medical miracle or a sure shot way to deal with your problems. What is of utmost importance is the fact that you need to desire that you want to heal. "Theta is a supplement, not a substitute. When we practise it on someone, we never ask him or her to give up on their medical treatments. Rather, we advise them to practise Theta alongside, and then see the effects," elaborates Rachna. An important aspect of Theta Healing is also that it is not religion-specific.

How it works
According to Rachna, Theta makes use of surrounding energies to connect with God. Once you start the process of meditating, Theta will automatically help you find cures to your problems. Unlike other techniques, you don't use your own body energies to heal yourself. Rather, you connect to the spiritual power. For those who can't afford it, there are also special discounted and free schemes. Once the treatment is over, it is advisable to continue with the practice.

What is Theta healing?

Theta Healing is a technique that teaches how to put to use our natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of The Creator. In 1995, Vianna Stibal, a naturopath, massage therapist and intuitive reader, discovered that the way she did her readings could result in instant healing. Vianna, a mother of three young children, was diagnosed with cancer that was quickly destroying her right foot. Everything she had tried, fromu00a0 conventional to alternative medicine, had failed. Then, she discovered that the simple technique she used in readings could heal. Her leg healed quickly after the discovery of Theta Healing. The art is best known for the seven planes of existenceu00a0-- a concept to connect to the highest level of love and energy. This technique can be taught to others, hence helping an individual heal himself. It is a rare and perhaps previously unheard of practice, here in India.
