Karishma Tanna (best remembered as Indu of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) features opposite Vivek Oberoi in Soham Shah’s upcoming period drama.
The telly actress essays the role of a Gujarati girl in the film which is based on the life of gangster Sharman Munjha. Karishma, who has started shooting for the film says, “I was keen to work with the makers of the film as well as Sanjay Dutt and Vivek as I knew that it would be a good experience.”
She is aware that it is not a glam role. “We are all are playing Gujaratis in the film and I will be seen in chania cholis and ghagras.” Karishma had earlier featured in the Akshay Kumar-Bobby Deol starrer Dosti: Friends Forever in 2005 besides some south films.
