Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team would also like to be back to winning ways after their loss to Mumbai Indians on Saturday.

Former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist has a relatively younger side. In the bowling department, their main weapon is Australia fast bowler Ryan Harris, who will be assisted by medium-pacer Praveen Kumar, leg-spinner Piyush Chawla and seamer Parvinder Awana. Former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood is expected to play a pivotal role for KXIP. While in batting, they have experienced David Hussey, besides skipper Gilchrist.

On the other hand, CSK has a number of game changers including captain Dhoni. Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay, Ravindra Jadeja and S Badrinath have the ability to win matches single-handedly.

Dhoni’s side would be relieved after Albie Morkel, who twisted his ankle while bowling in the domestic T20 tournament in South Africa, was cleared to play after precautionary scans. However, he is unlikely to play today.

Dhoni’s wishlist
>> Top order does better than the previous game
>> His big hitting continues
>> Adam Gilchrist goes early
>> Dirk Nannes makes earlyu00a0in-roads
>> Ravichandran Ashwin bowls tight

Gilchrist’s wishlist
>> He plays a scintillating knock
>> Bowlers continue the good work against a much better line-up
>> Praveen Kumar and Ryan Harris deliver the goods with the new ball
>> Youngster Manan Vohra continues his fine form
>> Dhoni does not get much deliveries to faceu00a0
