Biker killed in collision with bus

Shankar Vishnu Wadekar (35), a resident of Velha taluka, died after he was knocked down by a PMPML bus near Indulal Complex on Lal Bahadur Shastri road around 9.30 pm on Saturday

Vishrambaug police have lodged an FIR against the unidentified driver. Wadekar’s brother-in-law Sunny Balu Pandit (28)u00a0filed a report in this regard.

According to the complaint, Pandit was riding pillion with Wadekar driving a bike, when the bus took an abrupt turn near IndulalComplex chowk.

Wadekar was seriously injured as the bus hit him, while the driver fled from the spot. Assistant police inspector PP Kirdat is investigating the case.
