The music launch of upcoming film, 'Desi Kattey', an action adventure, faced a bizarre misadventure at a recent event held in New Delhi. At the event, audiovisuals of the songs that were played were interspersed with a clip from an adult film. Though it happened only for a few seconds, it was enough to embarrass the audience. Turns out this was the doing of one of the technical hands at the event.

Says a source, "Suddenly, some pornographic material popped up between two songs. It was immediately stopped, and the cast and crew, along with the special invitees, were shell-shocked by it."

Directed and produced by Anand Kumar, the cast of Desi Kattey includes Suniel Shetty, Jay Bhanushali, Ashutosh Rana, Tia Bajpai, Sasha Agha and debutant Akhil Kapur, who is veteran actor Vinod Khanna’s nephew. Music director Kailash Kher was also present at the event.

Adds the source, "When the technical hand was questioned, he acted like he didn’t know anything about it. In fact, he passed comments about the actor and the film’s action sequences. Akhil confronted him and there was some pushing around, till the security intervened and made that guy leave the premises."

Says Anand Kumar, "It happened for a fraction of a second, but it was embarrassing as our families were present. We had hired local technical guys for the event and that guy screened something that was on his computer. We cornered him, but he apologised and the organisers pleaded with us to let him go."
