Debutant Bollywood actors promoted their romantic comedy film 'Student of the Year' in Mumbai. Directed by Karan Johar, the film's star cast includes Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra.
The film is based on three school students and their journey from youth to adulthood filled with competition, envy, friendship, victory, failure and heartbreak.

Bhatt said all three were nervous, as it was their first film and everything appeared too grand for them.u00a0“All three of us are very nervous, it’s our first film and it is a Karan Johar film.
Everything is very grand; the promotions are very grand, as Siddharth always says everything is too grand for us. We have so much to take in and it’s just happening so soon that we can’t breathe. We just hope that the audience likes the film and please all of you go and watch it on October 19th,” said Bhatt.
The music of the film is composed by Vishal Shekhar and Bollywood actors, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, are giving special appearance in two different songs of the film separately.
The film is slated to hit the silver screen on October 19, 2012.
