The lack of Nargis Fakhri's ability to recognise industry folk may amuse many. After having once confessed that Ranbir Kapoor and director Imtiaz Ali, with whom she collaborated for her Bollywood debut, 'Rockstar' (2011), were "some dude and another dude with big hair", the actress has now refused to recognise Pakistani actor Imran Abbas.

"I don't even know who he is," Nargis Fakhri tells mid-day, responding to rumours of her dating the actor ever since a recent photograph of them was shared across the web. She clarifies, "It's from an old photo shoot, dating to a year ago."

Talking about Imran, an established actor on home turf who featured in a cameo in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' (2016), Nargis says, "I thought of commenting on the speculations, but didn't want to hurt his [Imran's] feelings. The media is talking about it and he must be excited, so I don't want to take away anyone's moment of fun. Let him have his glory."
