"He came to Inderpuri police station after a notice was served where he was arrested," a senior officer told PTI, adding the singer was later released on bail as he had been booked under bailable sections.

Delhi Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against Mika Singh at Inderpuri police station at the time even as a video of the alleged incident appeared on some websites.
The victim, Shrikant, an ophthalmologist posted at Ambedkar Hospital, suffered some internal injury inside his left ear due to the assault.
The incident took place on April 11th evening at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) as a part of their three-day conference being held at the Delhi Pusa Institute Mela Ground in Inderpuri.
"While performing, Mika had called some of the audience on stage for an activity. During the activity, something done by the doctor irked Mika who then slapped him and handed him to the bouncers," said a police official.
Soon after the incident, victim's colleagues created a ruckus at the venue but police immediately intervened and promised action against Mika Singh following which an FIR was filed against the singer.
After the incident, Mika had defended himself claiming the guy was drunk and causing disruption.
"Whenever men dance, kids and women get pushed behind so I was trying to get women in the front and men behind them. He (doctor) was drunk and did not listen to me though I kept telling him to move aside and let others enjoy.
He abused me, showed me the middle finger," Mika told a news channel. The doctor, meanwhile, said it was the singer who was abusive.
He said that the singer wanted him to move aside even when there was enough space for others to dance. When he did not agree, Mika's bouncers took him on the stage and the singer slapped him.
