World Vision from Global Big Read supported the session, which aims to highlight the need for children to remain in school, as explained by Dr Jayakumar Christian, National Director, World Vision India.

"It is important for all of us to work towards ensuring that no child is denied the access
to education," said Pamela Chopra. Actress Pooja Bedi, said "I am glad to be associated with Big Read. It is critical for parents across all walks of life to understand that education is the one aspect that can make significant difference to the value of our lives."

u00a0The Global Big Read is a book of short stories written by key global personalities such as Nelson Mandela, Queen Rania of Jordan and other dignitaries who did not give up reading even in the most adverse circumstances.

The guests endorsed the right to education aspect as well as World Vision's Vote Literacy campaign.

As per the campaign every voter has the right to make an informed choice in terms of whom they vote for based on the issues the candidate raises in the manifesto.
