Rio de Janeiro: Brazilian cops are looking for over 30 men who allegedly gang-raped a teenaged girl in Rio De Janeiro and then published its video online.
The 16-year-old survivor, who claimed she had gone to visit her boyfriend at his house, said she was drugged and when she woke up she was at a different location with all those men. The arrest warrants issued include one against her boyfriend too.
The 40-second video went viral and motivated an online campaign against the rape culture in Brazil. Although different accounts of the incident have also been reported.
A statement she gave to cops said she woke up injured a day later and went home. It was few days later that she found that her alleged rapists had posted pictures of the incident online. BBC reported that her grandmother said the family watched the video and cried.
