What kind of tribal house do you play?
My style is a type of house music with a high BPM rate (beats per minute) along with a mix of drums, percussions and breaks; perfect to make the crowd dance!

What does a signature DJ Bruno set consist of?
Drums and percussions, and a strong bassline. My mixing depends on the track; sometimes they breakdown really fast, sometimes slowly. I play a mix of electrotribal, electrotribe, progressive and funky.

How did your DJing career kickstart?
I started DJing in Sao Paulo where I have grown up. I did my first steps of mixing there. I decided on tribal house because in Brazil we have a lot of good DJs who play tribal. But, after travelling, I learnt of new styles, so, I upgraded my sound.

After Sao Paulo, how did you get a chance to play at other cities in Brazil? Which other countries have you played in?
I got a chance to play at various cities in Brazil because of my modelling assignments, which allow me to travel and connect with all sorts of people. Many countries organise something called Model's Night at leading nightclubs. At these parties, you get a chance to meet the owner and promoters. This helps bag a gig.u00a0
I have played in Greece, Turkey, South Africa and China.

Where have you seen the best partying crowd?
I'd say Brazil, but two weeks ago I played in Bangalore and I loved the crowd there. In fact, I was not expecting that kind of energy.u00a0

What have you planned for tonight's gig?
I have planned a vibrating set. A dance-rock band is going to open for me, so, I am just going to wait and see how the energy and vibe is when I get on the decks. Depending on whether the main is full or empty, I'll decide.
