The pair were given a mixed bag of comments from the judges' with Craig Revel-Horwood deeming it "not a rumba". An average of almost 10 million tuned in as former shadow chancellor Ed Balls conjured a magic dance potion that saw him score his best place on the judge's leader board so far.

The BBC One show had a peak audience of 10.6 million and an average of 9.8 million, giving it a 44.8 per cent audience share.
