The Versace On The Floor singer wowed the crowd when he stopped the show to make the announcement.
The singer said, "I'm thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause. Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it's important that we don't forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster."
Mars and Live Nation have redirected funds to The Community Foundation of Greater Flint, which is currently addressing the multitude of issues facing the city after the water crisis.
