So you knew Bonobo as the place to hang out with your buds on Friday night and slam it out to their music. Head there for a different vibe next Sunday, when the al fresco space will host a pop-up art market, featuring 15 emerging artists who work across different media. It's curated by the artist network Junta, which held the first edition of the market in Bengaluru in June this year.

In its second edition, look out for artworks by Tarika John, Mukund Iyer, Adrita Das and Anvita Gupta among others. "We are showcasing pieces by practising architects, art directors and graphic designers who have a substantial body of work to show, but for whom it's impossible to approach a gallery," says Laila Vaziralli, who founded Junta earlier this year. The artist network currently works with about 200 artists.

Vaziralli's curation for Junta art market includes illustrations, graphic art, woodcut prints and documentarian photographs with both abstract and realistic approaches. This art market could be the spot for you to pick up some affordable works, right from erotica to photographic prints, for your home or office. "We want people to encounter a group show in a fun environment, which is not as intimidating as a formal gallery," continues Vaziralli, adding that visitors will get a chance to meet the showcased artists at this market.
