Sippy's next directorial venture 'Nautanki Saala' will see two relatively new faces - Ayushmann Khurranna and Kunaal Roy Kapur - in the lead. For both Ayushmann and Kunaal, this is their second film after 'Vicky Donor' and 'Delhi Belly' respectively.
"I think it is the best time to direct newcomers. One can try newer concepts as they don't have a set image. I mean if today I am going to watch a Salman Khan film I know what I want, I should get my whole meal -- action, romance and comedy and etc," Sippy told PTI.
"You get to work with new and exciting concepts and it reduces the pressure of Rs 100 crore. Also because they are new, they work harder and don't come with a baggage," he said. Sippy feels newcomers have enthusiasm and energy and it helps in making the film more enjoyable. "I enjoyed working with them as it gives you a chance to work with the kind of enthusiasm and energy they have.
All this helps in making the film. When you work with a newcomer, you also keep it in budget and they give their 100 per cent," he said. Praising Ayushmann and Kunaal, Rohan said both of them are spontaneous and share a good chemistry.
