The manager of Martin Crowe (50) said the former New Zealand skipper is quite positive after being diagnosed with cancer lymphoma on Monday.
“He is feeling positive. Many people recover from this form of Lymphoma,” Crowe’s manager Louise Henderson said from Auckland.
“Martin had two meetings with his doctor last week and his third meeting is scheduled to be held tonight. He is a champion. He is used to placing his body on the line and giving his best. He will be doing this again,” she said yesterday morning. Lymphoma which affects the blood, is the sixth most common cancer. Crowe has been a media personality for several years.
