When we neared Vadkhal Road, Chavan sir asked me to halt for breakfast. Suddenly, the car skid on the road, and flipped twice. The car was moving at a speed of 85 km per hour. There were no bumps on the road."

The victims were rushed to the nearby Palave Hospital where they were given first-aid treatment.

They were then sent to KEM Hospital. Anil Gangar, chairman of Apna Bazaar Co-op Limited said, "The government had given us land to open a store.
