Carla Bruni set to return to modelling
Carla Bruni Sarkozy is reportedly all set to go back to her first career modelling. The 45-year-old, who married former French president Nicolas Sarkozy in 2008, has been picked by Bulgari to front its ad campaign.
Insiders say that the mother-of-two was photographed by Terry Richardson in Rome this week in what will be her first campaign for the Roman jeweller, who made headlines last week after being accused of tax evasion for the second time in three months.
Italian-born Bruni enjoyed a lucrative career as a high-end model, spotted aged 19, she was a regular on the Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino and Versace catwalks during the 1990s.
Quitting modelling for music in 1997, she recorded several albums and in 2011 accepted a small role in Woody Allen’s film Midnight in Paris.
Last year, she was invited by Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt to guest edit the magazine’s December 2012/January 2013 issue.
