Live ammunition for 9mm pistol found in Paharganj
Discovery of nine live cartridges near a Paharganj hotel kept Delhi Police personnel on toes all through Tuesday. An anonymous call regarding the ammunition sent panic waves among the locals, as the incident took place on the heels of the Delhi High Court blast.

"Police were told that the live cartridges were of AK-47. Immediately, a team was sent on the spot. Later it was revealed that the ammunition were of 9mm pistol," said a police official. The official said the cartridges have been impounded and sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL).
"The cartridges were packed in a paper and were lying near a dustbin outside hotel Rubina in Paharganj. A passerby saw it and called the police. He was also interrogated," said the official.
