Guneet Monga may have produced a film titled The Lunchbox, but ironically the producer has yet to pay the dues of the caterer who supplied food on the sets of the film as well as of her earlier production, Aiyyaa.

Says Yadav, “She owes me around Rs 7.5 lakh for Aiyyaa. In between when the Caterers’ Association had called her saying that they would stop all catering services to other units, her team contacted me and asked for a discount,”

He adds, “I have been waiting for a year. Every time, I have got in touch with her, she says she will get back but never does.

According to a source, “There are others too who have had payment issues with her in the past but most of them don’t say anything because they expect to get work from the same production house later.”

Caterer Satish Anna informs, “I also have to get some payment cleared for The Lunchbox, but most of is done. There was a shoot of another film in Patiala last year and the payment of Rs 5 lakh is still pending.”

Apparently, whenever the Caterers’ Association asks Guneet to make the pendingpayments, they clear some small amounts of the present account and assure to settle the old payments, which never happens.

Monga claims, “I have sorted it out with the caterer.”u00a0
