His own life was plagued with three decades of trying to achieve physical perfection through innumerable plastic surgeries, a behaviour so volatile that it became infamous as the dark consequence of fame on a young life, and a trial for sexually abusing a child and various allegations of paedophilia. But, underneath that murky existence lay, perhaps one of the most talented entertainers of our time.
And when he bid adieu to the world on June 25th 2009, no entertainer could remotely touch the void that his demise left the music world with.
