Scores of celebrities and the biggest names from movies, TV, sports, music- like George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Justin Bieber, Beyonce Knowles and Oprah Winfrey- gathered on Tuesday for 'Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief.'

The telethon aimed at raising money for those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Many stars also provided video messages of love and support for the victims of both storms.

"The elderly need wheelchairs and kids need books and toys so they can continue to dream," Beyoncé shared in a video message.

"Natural disasters don't discriminate. They don't see if you are an immigrant, black or white, Hispanic or Asian, Jewish or Muslim, wealthy or poor. It doesn't matter if you are from Third World or River Oaks, we are all in this together."

Action star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson also sent in a video message in which he shared his family's own experience of surviving Hurricane Andrew when he was just a child.

'There are no strangers in the aftermath of a hurricane,' Johnson said. 'No political parties, no agendas'It's all about survival and coming together as one because that's all that matters.'

During the one-hour show, Stevie Wonder, Tori Kelly, Luis Fonsi, Usher and Blake Shelton performed inspiring songs for viewers at home.

The event live-streamed across YouTube and Twitter, and also aired live on the big four broadcast networks.
