This year, a total of 4,89,348 students appeared for the coveted Chhattisgarh Board Class 10, high school Examination, which began on 24 February 2016 with Environment Paper and concluded on 14 March 2016 with Elective paper.
By confirming the date for CGBSE 10th or high school examination result 2016, the board has dispelled any rumours and speculations about a possible delay in the result declaration date. Prior to this, some students had complained about rampant rumours, which suggested that the CGBSE Result 2016 for Class 10 students might be delayed due to technical issues.

Last year, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur (CGBSE) announced the results of CG Board 10th Result on 28 April. Of the total 4,11,367 registered students for CGBSE High School Certificate exams; 4,03,762 students had appeared for the papers. This included 1,92,155 boys and 2,11,607 girls. Of nearly 4 Lakh students, 55.23%, which translates to 2,21,846 candidates; managed to clear the examination with flying colours. As expected, girls edged past the boys in terms of pass percentage by scoring 55.36% and 55.08% respectively.
Looking at the significantly increased number of registered candidates for this year’s examination, the board is expecting these statistics to show improvement in CG Board 10th Result 2016.
