Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar talked up teammate Kylian Mbappe and believes there is more to come from the teenage forward. Neymar and Mbappe were both on the scoresheet once more as PSG thrashed Celtic 5-0 in the Champions League match on Tuesday.

Mbappe, 18, has scored two goals in as many games since joining the French league giants on loan from Monaco.

Neymar, who set up Mbappe's goal at Celtic Park, praised the teenager and said the forward would only get better.

"It's always a pleasure to play with great players, even though he's young," the Brazil star was quoted saying by Goal.com. "For me, he's a great player and he has the potential to improve."

An Edinson Cavani brace, either side of an own goal from Mikael Lustig, completed PSG's resounding win.

PSG coach Unai Emery singled out Mbappe for praise.

"This is what he needs at the moment. He wants to be a great player and he is going to grow up into that role," Emery said.

"They have only played a few games together... but the key is that the team is going to improve more and more."

Celtic charged after fan attacks Mbappe
UEFA has initiated a probe against Celtic following a pitch invasion during their Champions League tie against PSG. A supporter raced onto the Parkhead pitch late in the first half on Tuesday with the hosts 3-0 down and darted towards Kylian Mbappe, 18. He aimed a kick at the former Monaco striker but failed to make contact before being whisked away by stewards. Celtic have been charged with a count of "field invasion" and will have their case heard by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on October 19, a UEFA statement said.
