YUVRAJ Singh made his India debut in the ICC Knockout tournament in 2000. Although he slammed an 80-ball 84 in India's win over Australia in the quarters, Yuvraj couldn't shine with the bat in the final against New Zealand which the Kiwis won by four wickets. The southpaw scored 18. However, in the bowling department, Yuvraj was economical, going for just 32 runs in his 10 overs.

2002 Champions Trophy (Did not bowl and bat)
THE 2002 Champions Trophy final saw India and Sri Lanka share the spoils in a rain-affected match at Colombo despite there being a reserved day. Yuvraj did not get to bat or bowl in both encounters. However, in the tournament, Yuvraj scored 65 runs (from two innings) in five matches at an average of 32.50. He was patchy with the ball, going wicketless for 59 runs in three matches. Yuvraj's economy rate was a staggering 6.55.

THE 2003 World Cup final is another clash Yuvraj Singh will want to forget. Posed with a stiff target of 360 by Australia, he did not contribute greatly with bat or ball. Yuvraj scored just 24 off 34 balls at a strike rate of 70.58, while he bowled only two overs going for 12 runs. Australia won by 125 runs to make it two World Cup wins in a row, having won the previous edition in 1999.
