India dished out a dominating all-round performance to hand out an embarrassing 240-run defeat against Bangladesh in their second ICC Champions Trophy warm-up game in London on Tuesday.

Put into bat, India posted a formidable 324-7, riding on Dinesh Karthik's stylish 94 off 77 balls and Hardik Pandya's whrilwind 80 off 54 balls at Kennington Oval here.

Shikhar Dhawan (60) also got runs under his belt against a quality Bangladesh attack comprising Mustafizur Rahaman (1/53), Rubel Hossain (3/50) and Taskin Ahmed (0/45).

India seamers then left Bangladesh in tatters with Umesh Yadav (3/16) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/13) reducing their rivals to 22 for 6 in 7.3 overs. Mohammad Shami (1/17), Jasprit Bumrah (1/32), Hardik (1/2) and R Ashwin (1/2) also contributed with one wicket each.

India had defeated New Zealand by 45 run in their first warm-up game ahead of the prestigious tournament where they will look to defend the title.

India will open their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 4.
