Joe Roth, who is the producer of Charlie Sheen's comeback series 'Anger Management', has been sued for over 50 million dollars by another producer Jason Shuman.
Shuman has claimed that he spent two years turning the 2003 Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson film “Anger Management” into the now much-anticipated TV sitcom.

Shuman asserted that he was promised “significant backend ownership” by Roth but eventually got shut out when Sheen climbed aboard.
“When Roth realized he would be giving up a significant amount of his ownership interest to bring in Charlie Sheen, he suddenly suffered a self-induced state of amnesia with respect to his moral, ethical and legal duties,” the New York Daily News quoted Shuman’s lawyer Bryan Freedman as saying.
“Make no mistake, this lawsuit will serve as a wakeup call,” Freedman said.u00a0Roth told the Hollywood Reporter that the lawsuit “has no merit.”u00a0An cryptic email included as an exhibit in the filing apparently shows Roth addressing Shuman’s grievance via email.
“As in the past, I will make things right, but I need some time,” Roth wrote in the purported December 2011 message.u00a0“You will have a resolution by Monday or Tuesday of next week.”
The new sitcom, based on 2003 Adam Sandler movie, is set to debut on FX in June with Sheen playing a former professional baseball player who becomes an unlikely anger-management therapist.
