The glamorous actress people see, or the girl who sometimes picks up a fight isn't the real Katrina. In reality, I am like every normal girl who has her own set of values and traditions. In fact, some of my friends think that I am far more conservative as compared to my contemporaries. My stardom hasn't changed me. When I read false stories in papers about me ill-treating people or throwing tantrums, I get pretty upset like any normal person would.u00a0 While I don't want to be showered with praises, I do expect people to show me some little respect that I deserve for my hard work.
Knot in a hurry
Unfortunately, I don't want a love life as of now.u00a0Two years earlier I had said that I would get married by 2012, but I am nowhere close to it. And I don't even have a guy to get married to. When it comes to co-stars, I have to consider the age gap and experience. For instance, I did a lot of nonsense on the sets with Imran (Khan) but that wouldn't be the case with Akshay, Salman or SRK. I think the 'celebrity camp' stuff is created by the media. We celebrities have our own equations with each other. With some it is cordial, with some it's just friends and with some it's like family. But that doesn't mean we hate others. There are no such camps in the industry. If you list down the people I have worked with, you will find the names of most of the people in the industry. When it comes to success, I can't trace my journey when I am in the middle of it. I don't stop in my life to think where I was and where I have come and feel wow about it. I get up every morning and look forward to my work. I have a very practical approach to life.u00a0
