In 2015, Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education recorded the highest ever 88.10 pass percentage for HSSC exams, even higher than the 2014 Results. The pass percentage in March 2014 was 85.54% wherein out of 11720 students who took the exam, 10025 had cleared. Whereas for March 2015 exam, out of 15,708 students, 13838 manage pass it with flying colours.

Following the trend of some previous years, girls outshone the boys in the examination as girls registered a good 89.10 pass percentage against the 83.77% of the boys.
