Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) regulates and supervises the development of school education in nation. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations is widely recognised as CISCE. In December 1967, the Council was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. ICSE board Exams meant for ICSE Class 10th board examination i.e. standard X and the ISC board Examination meant for ICSE Class 12th board examination i.e. standard XII.
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts three major exams i.e. Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE Class 10th / Class X) Exam, Indian School Certificate (ISC Class 12th / Class XII) Exam and the Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE - Year 12) Exam. The board, in an effort to ensure growth of individual student offers variety of subject choices and syllabuses offered for each subjects are very diverse from each other.
Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) meant to provide an examination in a course of general learning of students with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986.
