Chicken tries to cross road, taken into police custody!
Earlier this month in UK, a chicken was taken into police custody after it was spotted crossing the road in the middle of rush hour. Police in East Marketgait, Dundee, were called to an incident in which the feathery bird was spotted wandering across the tarmac in the middle of rush hour. It was seen in the morning on Friday and officers arrived after drivers reported the endangered hen. The chicken was "giving passing motorists cause for concern," Tayside Police Division police was quoted as saying by The Mirror. Officers managed to capture the lone bird and take it back to the station.
Student auctions virginity online to pay tuition fee
In September 2016, it was reported that 20-year-old Ariana from Russia was selling her virginity on an escort site in order to raise money to study medicine abroad. Ariana said that she had looked at multiple options to raise the money, but settled on this one, because it was the quickest and easiest way to raise money. The escort site, which goes by the name Cinderella Escorts, started the bids at £130,500 (Rs 1.12 crore).
She said, “Many students have multiple problems to deal with during their studies. I want to move to another country for my studies in medicine. The university will be very expensive; the rent will also be high. I want to get the financial burden out of the way, so I can focus on my medical studies.” A description on the escort site reads, “Ariana is 100 % Virgin. She can’t find love before and want to get money for herstudies. Buyer can check her virginity from a doctor (sic).” Ariana said that her parents were not aware of how she was hoping to raise the money, but added that she had no problem explaining it to them.
Woman cuts off hand and foot for insurance payout to friend
A Vietnamese woman paid a friend to cut off her hand and foot in a bid to claim a handsome insurance payout, media reported in August 2016. The woman, identified only as LTN, checked into a Hanoi Hospital in May with one third of her left foot and left hand severed. The 30-year-old then submitted a claim to her insurance company for 3.5 billion dong ($1,30,000). But authorities smelled a fraud. "N hired a friend to cut her limbs, then have him report false information," said police chief Nguyen Thanh Tung, adding, "The shame is that instead of getting the money, N has suffered a loss by losing both her hand and foot."
Woman gets pregnant after anal sex
In one of the rarest of rare case, a woman from Atlantic City, USA got pregnant by having anal sex. At first, the woman got really confused when she discovered she was pregnant despite not having had any vaginal sex. Dr Brian Steixner, a urologist in Atlantic City, explained to Vagabond that this can be caused by a rare condition that some women are born with. The condition is called cloacal malformation and causes a woman's bladder, vagina, and rectum to not fully develop into separately functional parts of the body. It makes the intestinal, reproductive and urinary tracts lead out the same opening - the anus. Dr Steixner told Vagabond, "We knew about her condition, and we had followed her for a decade. After doing a whole bunch of X-rays, we determined that she got pregnant from having anal sex."
10-year-old Jharkhand boy has grown up on dog milk!
The story of Mohit Kumar, a 10-year-old resident of Dhanbad, Jharkhand is an odd one. The boy, who was weaned when he was 2-years-old has been suckling dog milk since the age 4! According to his parents, Mohit apparently picked up this habit when playing with a group of strays outside his home one day and has been at it ever since. In fact, his canine companions have no problems with is milk craving and even encourage it. Medical experts say that although consuming dog's milk is not harmful to humans, the possibility of developing rabies exists.
