Chirag Paswan might portray the role of a playboy in his upcoming film, but he's quite the opposite in real life. The actor says that he's so shy that he still waits for girls to approach him. Delve a little deeper, and Chirag is almost ready to end the conversation. Gearing up for the release of his film with Kangna Ranaut, the actor talks to CS about his tryst with the glamour world:

Lights, camera, action
I might have been born in a political family, but I was always this starry-eyed kid who wanted to be an actor. So, you can imagine how excited I must have been when an opportunity like this one, came calling. I forgot all my nervousness when I faced the camera for the first time. I think my crew was more nervous for me, than I was (laughs). But I must say, everyone, especially Kangna, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
But yes, I was very shy around her and felt rather uncomfortable doing all those intimate scenes with her. Though I think that she's a great actor, I would also love to romance Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor onscreen.

We are family
My family has been very supportive of my acting career. Since I had done a few stage shows in the past, they knew where my interest lay. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said that they were more excited about my film than I was. They were on the sets most of the time. And they made it a point to constantly encourage me to keep going.

Hair and there
I used to sport long hair. But it didn't take much for my director to convince me to cut my hair. Every actor should be willing to experiment with his look. Frankly, I don't think that the length of your hair or your eye colour really matters in our industry. You just need to be good at acting. And I'm busy brushing up those skills.
