Sinha has been vocal about her dislike of Singh's over-friendly ways in the past, and having returned straight from a shoot in Patiala -- where she was shooting with Ajay Devgn for Son Of Sardar -- the crew was certain things wouldn't go smoothly.

However, Sinha decided to turn the tables on her co-star. Abandoning her habitual reserve, Sinha was a livewire, and according to eyewitnesses, Singh didn't know what hit him.

Says a prominent crew-member of the Lootera team, "We were all apprehensive about how things would go between Ranveer and Sonakshi after the reports inu00a0 the media that she was put off by his over-friendly nature.
In fact, Vikramaditya Motwane, who is usually non-interfering, wondered aloud whether there was a problem between his co-stars, and even rang up Sonakshi to enquire."

The duo were to rehearse for two days before the shoot began. On the first day itself, Sinha turned on the charm.

Perhaps in a bid to pre-empt Singh's famed over-friendliness, she became playful. When contacted, the film's producer Vikas Behl confirmed, "Surprisingly, Sonakshi turned out to be more mischievous than Ranveer.

Their camaraderie existed even when the camera was not on."

When asked how she coped with Singh, Sinha quipped, "Ummm...what's there to cope?
