CISF considers action against ISRO guard

Jadhav, who fired eight rounds and created an alleged false alarm of a terror attack at Bylalu ISRO Centre, continues to report to work as usual

Although it's becoming clear that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable Jadhav's statement about the firing at the Bylalu ISRO Centre by unidentified men is false, the department continuesu00a0 tou00a0 dither over taking action against the erring cop.






He said that he has already sent a report about the incident to the Central government.u00a0

Home Minister VS Acharya said that if required, he would transfer the case to Crime Investigation Department (CID). Meanwhile, the district police, who are investigating the case, did not find any further lead to support Jadhav's statement.

In the meantime, a team from CISF headquarters in New Delhi, under the direction of Union Home Minister P Chindambaram, has arrived in Bangalore to review the security arrangements at the ISRO Centre.
