A few single screen theatres are busy renovating themselves for Salman Khan’s film ‘Jai Ho’
Some single screen theatres across the country are gearing up for the release of Salman Khan’s film Jai Ho. If sources are to be believed, quite a few of the theatres are being spruced up including creating more seats.

As Sallu is responsible for reviving the business of single screens, they feel they owe it to him when his film is up for release later this month.
The star even released the first look of the film at Chandan theatre in Juhu -- a single screen theatre -- which was packed with fans.
Sameer Joshi of Chandan, says, “Any Salman Khan release is a festival for his fans and time for celebration. We’re simply getting ready for the occasion.”
Nitin Datar, vice-president of Cinema Owners’ and Exhibitors’ Association, adds, “There are cinema halls like Deepak and New Excelsior that are under renovation. It is a mere coincidence that their reopening is with the release of Salman’s next.”
