A minor girl committed suicide by jumping from the top floor of a multi-storey residential tower in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi Thursday
A minor boy, who too jumped with the Class 8 girl off the building in an attempt to kill himself, was injured, police said.

S. Das died soon after jumping from the top floor of Malabar Apartments of Niwaranpur. Aditya, a Class 9 boy, was shifted to hospital with critical injuries.
Both were studying in St. Thmoas School of Ranchi. Police were investigating if the two were in love.
