Lakshman Dhoble's car loses control; biker dies immediately
In an accident on the Pune-Mumbai highway last night involvingu00a0 State Water-supply and Sanitation minister's car, a biker was killed. 
Dhoble sustained minor head injuries while his driver Suryavanshi
injured his hand and head.
"A motorcyclist has been killed in the mishap. He was trying to cross the divider when Dhoble's driver, in order to save the biker, went off the road and lost control. Dhoble's car toppled and got stuck."
The biker, identified as Sahaji Baban Ozarkar (29), a resident of Ozarde, died on the spot. Soon after the incident, the highway control room and local police were informed, who later called for a private car.
Dhoble was stuck in his car for around 20 minutes, as the officials were trying to identify the accident spot.
Only after the officials spotted Dhoble's car, was he taken out and shifted to YCM Hospital at Chinchwad at 10.30 pm. Dhoble received minor head injuries while his driver Jaidev Suryavanshi injured his hand and head.
Dhoble's bodyguard Santaram Hadigaonkar suffered injuries to his spine and chest and has been admitted to Lokmanya Hospital in Nigdi.
The on-duty doctor at YCM Hospital said, "We have already carried out the CT-Scan and his reports are normal. He has been shifted to a private ward and he is currently taking rest."
It was not known if Suryavanshi had been admitted for treatment. Doctors at Lokmanya Hospital said that he was stable but still needed to be shifted to the ICU.
