Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will be throwing open the LBS Marg flyover to the public on Friday. The 565-metre flyover is a crucial part of the Santa Cruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR).
The flyover — providing two lanes each for up and down traffic — will help more than 50,000 commuters avoid traffic snarls at the LBS junction and zip across to Kurla station saving time and fuel.u00a0
The flyover, part of the SCLR, being built under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project cost Rs 16 crore. u00a0
