Europe captain Colin Montgomerie welcomed Tiger Woods' inclusion in the US Ryder Cup team last night after the golfing superstar was handed one of four wildcard berths on the American squad.
Montgomerie, who will lead Europe for the first time in next month's showdown at Celtic Manor, said: "I'm delighted to see Tiger Woods amongst Corey's selections. The Ryder Cup is a better event with him in it."
