The Colombian team will be the first to arrive in the country for next month's FIFA Under-17 World Cup when the players from the South American country touch down at the airport here in the wee hours tomorrow.

The Colombian team of 21 players and the support staff will touch down at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here after 1 am IST.

Colombia are placed in Group A along with hosts India, Ghana and United States of America. They will play their first group match against Ghana in the tournament opener on October 6 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.

The New Zealand team will be the next to arrive on September 22. They will land in Mumbai, which will be their base for the group matches.

New Zealand are placed in Group B along with Paraguay, Mali and Turkey.

The remaining 21 teams will arrive later, starting from next week. Honduras, New Caledonia, Iraq and Mexico will be the last teams to arrive -- on October 4 -- as their first matches begin on October 8.
