Rangreza is a three-day exhibition cum demonstration at Either Or which will showcase eco-friendly artefacts and garments

Come celebrate this festive season with Either Or and Avani (a community-based organisation) as they join hands for an exhibition. Titled Rangreza, the event will let the city experience the beauty of natural dyes, handspun fabrics and natural colours through an exhibition-cum-demonstration.u00a0Join them in this journey which will familiarise you with eco-friendly wool and silk textiles, wool-stuffed toys, play kits, organic paints and demonstrations while giving you lessons on sustainability.

Going natural
Avani is a community-based organisation that has been working in the Kumaon region of central Himalayas in India for the past 14 years. Their main purpose has been to give rural youth a choice of local employment. That ensures that they get to live in their homesteads rather than migrating to the plains for meager incomes.u00a0
Avani has facilitated the setting up of two self-reliant rural enterprises -- handmade naturally dyed silk and woolen textiles and manufacture of solar equipment (lanterns, water heaters, driers, etc).u00a0
